I am from York, SC and have had my own studio since 2005.  I studied Art in California at San Joaquin Delta College many years ago before changing my focus to business.  I have never lost my love for the Arts and was reintroduced

to my love of clay when I moved to York in 2003.  I currently have 2 major focuses:  Sculpture and Functionally Abstract pieces.  My abstract pieces are all food, oven, microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe.  I enjoy exploring colors and textures.

 

I will be a Featured Artist at the “Made in Nature” Exhibit at the York County Cultural Museum during 2009.  I am also featured in the SC Welcome Center Brochure for “38 Artist’s Studios” to see in the Olde English District.  I am not only a member of the Fort Mill Art Guild, but a member of the Carolina Claymatters Guild for NC and SC Potters.  I have an abstract piece on display in Terminal A at the Charlotte Douglas Airport.
